My Autumn/Winter Fashion Wishlist

I love dressing for this time of year and have seen some fantastic pieces i’d love to make part of my autumn/winter wardrobe this year.

I know these boots have been around for a long time but i’m desperate for a pair this winter, they would look just as great with jeans as they would with tights and dresses.

I absolutely love these Tory Burch riding boots!

This tartan scarf is a great way to incorporate this seasons tartan trend into your wardrobe.

These leather gloves are practical yet still extremely stylish.

Vaseline Total Moisture Cocoa Radiant Vitalizing Body Gel Oil with Pure Cocoa Butter

I love slathering this all over my body at night and waking up with smooth, soft skin.

#6 –  Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser Light

This moisturiser is extremely light and doesn’t make my skin feel greasy at all which can be a problem for people with oily skin.

#7 – Boots

I love wearing boots with everything in the autumn, my favourite are these black biker boots from next.

#8 – Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter

This product is extremely hydrating and lasts for a long time on my lips, which is great for the colder months. It also is very buildable and can leave either an extremely sheer hint of colour or can be layered up for a more bold look.

#9 – Keratin Smooth Hair Mask

I try to do my Tresemme Keratin Smooth hair mask once or twice a week in the colder months to give my hair a deep condition. This treatment leaves your hair feeling gorgeously soft and healthy and is extremely convenient as it can be left on for a few minutes in the shower after shampooing then rinsed out.

#10 – Hand Cream

I ensure that I carry around a good hand cream in the cooler months as my hands get extremely dry. My favourite is the L’occitane Shea butter hand cream.

My Top 5 Summer Clothing Items

With the recent hot weather we’ve been having in Britain lately I’ve had the chance to get some use out of the summer clothes I usually only get to wear abroad. So I thought I would share with you my favourite pieces this season.

1.Crop Tops

I’ve been loving wearing crop tops with high waisted shorts/pants/skirts, showing about an inch of my midriff. I think this is extremely flattering and is a lot more subtle if you aren’t someone who could walk around with their whole stomach on show. My favourite crop top is my white lace one from Topshop.

2. Coloured Jeans

I absolutely love coloured jeans, they’re a great way to change up your entire style for the summer months without having to make too much effort. They also come in various styles and colours so there’s a pair to suit everyone. My favourite jeans are these coral skinny ones from Marks and Spencer.

3. Casual dresses

I’ve been loving cotton dresses this season as they’re cool, comfortable and easy to throw on when you don’t know what to wear. They also go just as well with sandals as they do with converse, making them extremely versatile. My favourite is this floral one from Primark.

4. Playsuits

Playsuits are a great alternative to a dress or shorts in the summertime and come in a variety of styles. My favorites are my floral one from Republic and my khaki one from Tkmaxx.

5. Eyelet detail

Eyelet detail looks great on tops and dresses and is extremely girly and delicate. My favourite top with this effect is my white one from Tkmaxx.

Skincare Routine

I’m always a little bit sceptical about trying out new skincare products as my skin is extremely sensitive, but after using the Liz Earle cleanse and polish for a long time i decided to give some more of her products a try. Since doing this I have noticed a HUGE difference in both the texture and appearance of my skin, so i’m going to share with you my skincare routine and explain the products I’ve been using so you can try them out and see the results for yourself!

Step 1: Cleanse

To cleanse my skin I’ve been using the Liz Earle cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser. I massage the product into dry skin and then wipe it away with a muslin cloth soaked in hand hot water. This removes all of my makeup (including most of my eye makeup) whilst still being extremely gentle my skin.

Step 2: Tone

I’ve been using the Liz Earle instant boost skin tonic as a toner, i put a small amount on a cotton pad and gently sweep it across my face and neck. This instantly refreshes my skin and leaves it feeling soft and extremely clean yet not at all dry, it also removes dirt that you wouldn’t even imagine was still on your skin after cleansing.

Step 3: Moisturise

I then use the Liz Earle skin repair moisturiser in Light for combination/oily skin to keep my skin feeling soft and hydrated; I apply a pea sized amount of this to my face and neck and allow it to sink in before applying any makeup. It is extremely light and doesn’t make my skin feel greasy at all which can be a problem for people with oily skin, however it also comes in slightly different formulas to suit different skin types.

Step 4: Eye Cream

Lastly I use the Liz Earle eyebright soothing eye lotion. I apply it to a cotton pad and sweep it over my eyelashes to remove any excess makeup (if there is any) and then soak my under eyes with it. This lotion is also fantastic at soothing dry, tired and puffy eyes and brightening the entire eye area.

I bought all of these products myself on the Liz Earle website (http://uk.lizearle.com/skin-essentials-regime) and am extremely impressed with how well they work both with my skin and with each other to give me fantastic results.

Weekly Favourite

Each week I’m going to tell you about my favourite thing; whether it be a person, product or something else.

This weeks favourite is my crushed velvet Dr Martens.

I got these gorgeous shoes for my birthday in February and absolutely love them. They’re extremely comfortable and required no breaking in what so ever.

Dr martin 6

They were on sale for around £55 when i got them on www.drmartens.com but I can’t find them on the website anymore. Very.co.uk are selling them for £77 though, which isn’t too bad.

Do any of you own a pair of Dr Martens?
If not, what are your favourite pair of shoes?

Weekly Favourite

Each week I’m going to tell you about my favourite thing; whether it be a person, product or something else.

This weeks favourite is the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

I absolutely adore this cleanser, it wipes of every trace of my makeup (including the most stubborn mascara) with minimal effort. All you do is massage it into dry skin, then wipe away grime and stubborn mascara using the muslin cloth supplied.

It is a bit on the pricey side at £24 for 200ml however only a small amount is required and honestly, it’s worth paying for a product that really works.

Do any of you have a favourite cleanser? Or have you tried the Cleanse & Polish before?
