L’Eau De Rose
The L’eau de rose perfume by Jeanne Arthes is definitely a new favourite of mine, I received it in my February glossybox and have been loving it since. It’s so light and girly and perfect for everyday wear.
‘Representing simple elegance, L’Eau de Rose reflects the sensual and modern woman. A refreshing and sophisticated composition for a classy and stimulating fragrance. A perfume which represents the delicate and seductive woman perfectly – a homage to romance and femininity.’
RRP: £20.30 for 30ml
I’d never used a Vera Wang perfume before I received this one for my birthday in February but I’m loving it! It’s the perfect scent for summer evenings as it is quite deep and musky without being too heavy.
‘There’s an instant attraction to the mouth-watering pink guava and mandarin which is followed by a delicate mix of tuberose and lotus blossom.Behind it all, precious woods and sheer musk combine to create a passionate elegance. Vera Wang Lovestruck represents an irresistible romance and captures the feeling of a woman who is struck by love and captivated by passion.’
RRP: £70 for 100ml
This is definitely my favourite perfume of the three and I wear it everyday for work, the smell lasts all day long and it’s an absolute bargain!
‘Woody – Floral – Peach – Caramel – Rose – Jasmine – Violet – Cedar.’

What’s your favourite perfume for spring/summer?
I absolutely love doing face masks as a little treat to brighten up my skin and have tried out a lot over the past few years! They’re also a lovely thing to buy someone as they come in a variety of prices so you can get one to suit your budget. Here are my top five favourites in no particular order!
Montagne Jeunesse (7th Heaven) Sachets
These are the perfect masks to buy for a little pick me up as they only cost £1 and there are a variety of different types so there’s guaranteed to be one you’ll love! My personal favourite is the dead sea mud pack as I have oily, spot prone skin.
Sanctuary 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask
This mask is amazing for oily/combination skin types as it leaves the skin feeling refreshed and deeply cleansed. The tube costs around £10.50 however if that’s a little too expensive you can get a sachet which will last for two goes for £2.99.
Liz Earle Brightening Treatment Mask
Every now and then my skin looks dull, lacklustre and needs a boost! This mask is perfect for that as it sinks in within a few minutes and leaves your skin feeling soft and looking bright and healthy. It’s also a great gift idea for someone who is into skincare, however it is slightly more pricey at £16 for a 50ml starter kit including a muslin cloth.
What’s your favourite mask?
I absolutely love experimenting with different lipsticks, especially in the winter months. Bold lips are also a great way to dress up your look without having to put any extra effort in, perfect for lazy girls! I’m going to share with you my top three favourites for pale skin.
#1 Topshop ‘Inhibition’
This lipstick is a gorgeous dark berry colour which is perfect for Christmas parties! It goes on smoothly and leaves an incredibly pigmented matte finish which lasts for hours – even after eating! I can’t wait to try more from Topshop’s makeup line in the future.
#2 Natural collection ‘Berry Blush’
This lipstick is perfect if your looking to try out a new colour but don’t want to spend a lot as it only costs £1.99! It’s also a more subtle way to wear a berry shade making it great for everyday wear.
#3 Rimmels ‘Diva Red’
This is the most moisturising of the three, I have really chapped lips at the moment but this just glides over my lips and doesn’t sink into any dry patches. I love the colour too, its the only red shade i’ve found that compliments my ghostly white skin.

Which designer bag would you love to own?
Having oily, sensitive skin makes finding face masks that work an impossible challenge, they always seem to be too harsh and leave my skin feeling irritated and raw. Finally, after a lot of awful experiences, I’ve found three masks that do wonderful things to my skin.
I’m going to tell you about each of them, in no particular order.
The Body Shop’s Honey & Oat 3 In 1 Scrub Mask
This mask is absolutely brilliant, I use it once a week to soften and gently exfoliate my skin. I would recommend it for all skin types as it is gentle but gives great results as it is so moisturising. It also smells lovely and is easy to apply.
Retails at £9
The Body Shop’s Warming Mineral Mask
I’ve been using this mask for years now, and could honestly never replace it. I use it once a week to give my skin a deep cleanse. It gently warms up when applied to the skin so it can unclog pores and prevent spots. When rinsed off after the five minutes, it leaves the skin feeling squeaky clean, yet not dry and tight.
Retails at £9
Sanctuary Moisture Boosting Mask
I use this mask whenever my skin is looking dull as it gives the skin a gorgeous healthy glow. It also seems to calm redness and improves my skin tone and texture.
Retails at £2.03 per sachet
I hope I’ve helped anyone who is struggling to find a good mask.
