After what has seemed like the longest month my March Glossybox is finally here, and just like the last one it’s filled with five fantastic products I can’t wait to use!
The first product I saw was this sleek eye and cheek palette which I was very excited about as I’ve never tried out any sleek makeup before but have heard great things about it. I love all of the colours as they quite natural and perfect for everyday wear.
Next I saw the thisworks ‘in transit camera close up’ which is a mask, moisturiser and primer all in one and claims to hydrate skin leaving it dewy, plump and perfectly prepped for flawless makeup application. I’m sure it will live up to my expectations as I’ve never been let down by a thisworks product before.
A sample size of the F&R ‘Hydra-Activ smart nutrient day cream’ was also included and is supposed to deliver long lasting hydration and radiance with vitamins A,C and E. I’m looking forward to using this as my skin has been very dry and dull lately.
This 30ml sample of Swarskopfs ‘BC oil miracle brazilnut pulp treatment’ is for nourishing and moisturising hair whilst removing impurities. My hair has been really dry and limp over the last few months so I can’t wait to give it a go.
Lastly I received this eye cream from Oolution which is 100% natural and contains ingredients which stimulate collagen synthesis. This means you’re left with bright under eyes and reduced wrinkles, obviously I don’t have any wrinkles at 21 however it will help to prevent them!
Have you tried out any of these products?
I absolutely love experimenting with different lipsticks, especially in the winter months. Bold lips are also a great way to dress up your look without having to put any extra effort in, perfect for lazy girls! I’m going to share with you my top three favourites for pale skin.
#1 Topshop ‘Inhibition’
This lipstick is a gorgeous dark berry colour which is perfect for Christmas parties! It goes on smoothly and leaves an incredibly pigmented matte finish which lasts for hours – even after eating! I can’t wait to try more from Topshop’s makeup line in the future.
#2 Natural collection ‘Berry Blush’
This lipstick is perfect if your looking to try out a new colour but don’t want to spend a lot as it only costs £1.99! It’s also a more subtle way to wear a berry shade making it great for everyday wear.
#3 Rimmels ‘Diva Red’
This is the most moisturising of the three, I have really chapped lips at the moment but this just glides over my lips and doesn’t sink into any dry patches. I love the colour too, its the only red shade i’ve found that compliments my ghostly white skin.
What’s your favourite Lipstick at the moment?
I absolutely love wearing dresses like this in the autumn/winter months with a shirt or jumper underneath. I got this one from Topshop last year in the sale for £15 so I’m not sure if its still available but there’s lots of different styles in the shops at the moment!
I’ve been lusting after these Miss KG shoes for months, they’re £150 but you can find much cheaper alternatives. Ankle boots like this look great with absolutely any outfit and make you look slightly more dressy and put together.
This coat from Topshop goes with absolutely any outfit and is so comfortable, I’ve been wearing it non stop lately! It cost £85 which I don’t think is too bad as I know I’m going to get lots of wear out of it.
Long sleeve shirts
Shirts like these are great for layering and can be dressed up or down to suit any occasion.
I got this pair of leggings from Primark for £7 and have worn them constantly since! They are so warm and comfortable and look amazing under a slouchy jumper.
What are your favourite pieces for autumn?
Each week I’m going to tell you about my favourite thing; whether it be a person, product or something else.
My favourite this week is my Dr Marten lookalikes.
I got these boots from Primark a few weeks ago and absolutely love them! They give any outfit an edgy twist and are extremely comfortable and durable.
They also only cost £20 which is an absolute bargain!
