April 2017 Glossybox Unboxing

Once again Glossybox have delivered me five lovely products to try out and share with you!

Firstly I received this SportFX eyebrow pencil in ‘brunette’ which twists up on one side to fill in any sparse areas and has a brush on the other to help keep your brows in shape.

The next thing I saw was this Model co contour stick, I’ve never used anything like this before and am looking forward to using it! I’ll let you know how I get on.

This Radial ‘glamolash’ mascara is supposed to give XXL volume and is the perfect mini size for travelling or keeping in your makeup bag for touch ups throughout the day.

I’ve used a Merci handy sanitiser before in the vanilla scent and absolutely loved it, they leave your hands feeling clean without drying them out. A total handbag must-have.

I’ve heard about co-washing before but never got around to giving it a go so i’m looking forward to testing out this one from Dellwash haircare. It’s supposed to be a lot more gentle on hair and stop it feeling dry and frizzy; definitely something I would benefit from.

My Top 3 Hand Creams

My hands get extremely dry, especially in the winter months. I’ve tried dozens of different hand creams from different brands and thought I’d share with you my top three favourites so far.

1. L’occitane Almond Delicious Hands

This is definitely my favourite hand cream of the three. It sinks in immediately leaving your hands feeling silky soft, perfect for applying on the go! It also comes in a few different scents such as rose and shea butter so there should be one to suit you.

It retails at £8 for the travel size, which is great for carrying around in your handbag.

2.  Soap and Glory ‘Hand Food’

This cult favourite hand cream smells fantastic and keeps hands feeling soft and healthy.

It retails at £2.50 for a travel size going up to £7 for a large size with a pump dispenser.

3.  Aveeno Hand Cream

This hand cream leaves my hands feel soft even after washing and doesn’t leave any sort of sticky feeling. Great for using in the morning as it will last all day long.

It retails at around £5.50

Pamper Night Essentials/Routine

After a long week at work I love to unwind and having an evening to myself to do a face pack and pamper myself is the perfect way to do it!

I start off by removing any makeup i have on with my Olay wipes and then i clean my skin with my Garnier PureActive 3in1 wash, scrub and mask as it targets any blemishes.

I then usually light a candle, at the moment i’m using Glade’s spiced apple and cinnamon which smells amazing!

After this I run my bath and wash my hair, at the moment i’m using Tresseme Keratin Smooth shampoo. Then I apply my deep treatment mask which i leave on my ends for around 10 minutes to soak in. These products leave my hair feeling extremely soft and healthy.

After this I use my Soap&Glory Sugar crush body scrub to leave me feeling smooth and get rid of any dead skin. I then wash my body with my passion fruit shower gel from The Body Shop.

After I’ve shaved my legs using my Gillete venus embrace razor I rinse my hair. Once I’m dry I apply my passion fruit body butter from the Body Shop to keep my skin soft and supple and put on my pyjamas.

My l’occitane shea butter foot cream is fantastic at smoothing any dry patches I have on my feet, so I normally apply it after my bath and put on my cosy socks to help it sink in.

The face mask I use (and love!) at the moment is the Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask. It’s great for dealing with oily, spot prone skin without being over drying.

When 10 minutes is up I rinse off the mask and apply my Liz Earle skin repair moisturiser in light and my Boots vitamin e eye cream.

I would then paint and file my nails and once they dry put on my Soap&Glory hand food hand cream.

And that’s all of my pamper night essential products.
