I’m a huge fan of Soap and Glory shower and bath products but had never delved into their skincare selection until recently. I’m so impressed with all of the products I’ve tested and thought I’d share with you some of my favourites.
Bright + Beautiful Radiance-Boosting Mask
This sheet mask is extremely refreshing and leaves my skin both looking and feeling fantastic! It’s a little bit pricey at £3.50 but is definitely worth it as a treat.
Puffy Eye Attack Under-Eye Brightening Hydrogel Patches
These patches are so soothing and help to banish puffy under eyes in half an hour; perfect for before a night out or event. They cost £3.50 for one pair.
DRAMA CLEAN 5-in-1 Micellar Cleansing Water
After running out of my favourite Garnier micellar water I decided to try this one out and wasn’t dissapointed, it removes makeup easily and smells lovely. It’s also only £6 for a 350ml bottle.
The Fab Pore Purifying Foam Cleanser
I tried out this cleanser when it was on offer and am so glad I did, It keeps spots at bay without being overly drying and is much cheaper than my usual Murad cleanser at £8 for 200ml. I will definitely be repurchasing it when I run out.
What are your favourite Soap&Glory skincare products?
Once again Glossybox have delivered me five lovely products to try out and share with you!
Firstly I received this SportFX eyebrow pencil in ‘brunette’ which twists up on one side to fill in any sparse areas and has a brush on the other to help keep your brows in shape.
The next thing I saw was this Model co contour stick, I’ve never used anything like this before and am looking forward to using it! I’ll let you know how I get on.
This Radial ‘glamolash’ mascara is supposed to give XXL volume and is the perfect mini size for travelling or keeping in your makeup bag for touch ups throughout the day.
I’ve used a Merci handy sanitiser before in the vanilla scent and absolutely loved it, they leave your hands feeling clean without drying them out. A total handbag must-have.
I’ve heard about co-washing before but never got around to giving it a go so i’m looking forward to testing out this one from Dellwash haircare. It’s supposed to be a lot more gentle on hair and stop it feeling dry and frizzy; definitely something I would benefit from.
Have you tried out any of these products?
I’ve written quite a few skincare routine posts over the past couple of years however I tend to change what I use from one season to the next. My skin has been particularly problematic lately as it’s somehow managing to be dry as well as oily which is definitely not something that I’m used to.
I’ve been trying a lot of new products, most of which are extremely affordable, so I thought that I’d share my favourites with you in case your skin is suffering in the cold weather too.
To cleanse my skin i’ve been loving the Neutrogena visibly clear pink grapefruit face scrub, it leaves my skin feeling clear and healthy and smells delicious. It lightly exfoliates too which helps to banish any blackheads and dry patches.
It retails at around £4 however Boots have a 2 for £5 offer on at the moment.
For toner I’m using Pixi’s glow tonic which helps to smooth my skin and reduce blemishes. It also has 5% glycolic acid which exfoliates and banishes blackheads.
It retails at £18 for 250ml which is quite pricey but totally worth it for the results it gives.
Neutrogena’s visibly clear oil free pink grapefruit has been the moisturiser I’ve been using over the past month or so, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated without looking greasy and is the perfect base for makeup.
It retails at around £5 but again there is a 2 for £5 offer on at boots.
For eye cream I use the Boots essentials cucumber eye gel which is lovely as it cools the eye area and reduces any puffiness.
It retails at £1.50 which is an absolute bargain!
Whats are your favourite skincare products?
This shimmering purple/blue gel colour is ‘purple orchid’ by Sensationail.
Have any of you tried the Sensationail gel kit?
Benefit Gimme Brow is a tinted brow-volumizing fiber gel. It looks almost like a mini mascara and needs to be applied in gentle strokes until you reach the desired look. Most importantly, it gives an extremely natural looking finish and is quick and easy to use; perfect for when you’re doing your makeup in a hurry.
Its also has amazing staying power, I wear it for around 12 hours on average and it does not budge at all! I’ll definitely be repurchasing.
It retails at around £18.50 and I wear the shade medium/deep.
Have any of you tried it out? If yes, what do you think?
