Nspa Youthful Eye Cream

DSC00195 DSC00207

Despite having a ridiculously oily t-zone and eyelids i’ve always struggled with my under eyes being dry and discoloured. I’ve spent a fortune on different eye creams claiming to solve these problems whilst still being light enough to be worn underneath makeup but just haven’t found one that delivers.

I recently ran out of my Liz Earle ‘eye bright’ and was looking in Asda to see if I could get a cheap alternative to tide me over until I could repurchase it, I ended up buying the NSpa youthful eye cream as it was the cheapest one I could see at only £5. I wasn’t expecting much from it really but I was suprised at how nice it actually is, it has quite a thick texture which leaves the area feeling extremely moisturised however it sinks in within a few minutes meaning its the perfect base for my concealer. After a few weeks of use i’ve also noticed quite a significant reduction in my dark circles which is a huge bonus! I’ll definitely be repurchasing.

It is described as having anti-aging collagen boosting peptide (tetrapeptide-21) to firm, fruit acids to brighten, highly moisturising hyaluronic acid, cross linked hyaluronic acid to fill wrinkles and fine lines, radiance improving grapeseed oil, nourishing avocado oil and anti-oxidant natural vitamin E.

Have any of you tried it? What’s your favourite eye cream?

Nails Of The Day

I recently got shellac nails for the first time and absolutely love how they turned out. My nails usually chip after two or three days but these are still going strong after 5 days.

I got them painted a gorgeous dark red colour, perfect for Christmas!

#1 – Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Endless

This has to be the best mascara I’ve ever used, it makes your lashes extremely long and thick and doesn’t clump what so ever. It’s also great for achieving any look, from natural to an almost false effect depending on the amount you apply and holds up amazing throughout the day – no signs smudging or flaking at all!

Retails at around £7.99

#2 – Maybelline The Falsies

This mascara is great for giving extremely thick looking lashes as its specially designed curved brush coats every lash giving a fuller, more dramatic look.

Retails at around £7.99

#3 – 17 Blow Out Mascara

Retails at around £4.00

#4 – Avon Super Extend Mascara

This mascara is amazing for a more natural look as it gives lashes length but not much volume. Perfect for daily wear and holds a curl really well.

Retails at around £10

#5 – Soap And Glory Thick&Fast

The huge brush on this mascara helps to thicken the lashes whilst giving a lot of volume and curl. My only issue is that it works amazing for the first few weeks but seems to dry up quickly.

Retails at around £10
